We begin our Holy Week. A few days full of devotion and meditation, to live intensely one of our most revered traditions and that is part of our cultural roots. A tradition that makes Mijas a unique place.
Every corner of our town is impregnated with the smell of incense and the faint light of candles, creating a unique atmosphere and images that not only remain in our memories, but also fill our soul with a special warmth.
These are days of reflection, introspection and forgiveness, and also of shared joy. Our images walk through its streets, accompanied by thousands of people who contemplate them with admiration and respect, since this Passion Week is one of the pillars of the history of Mijas.
I am convinced that this Holy Week will be very special, because every year we excel. May faith permeate your hearts during these days.
